Aths Victoria’s XCR comes to Bendigo at St Anne’s Winery on Sat 28 May

What a way to kick-start the 2022 XCR individual rounds at Bendigo’s very own St Anne’s Winery!

Athletics Bendigo is proud to be the host region for this round of the Athletics Victoria’s 2022 XCR Series.

St Anne’s Bendigo offers sweeping landscapes of stunning views featuring picturesque wetlands, ancient River Red Gums and vineyards. This is a runner’s paradise.

The local Bendigo Bats XCR running team is looking strong following an excellent showing at the first round of the series at the Jells Park Relays (read about that here).

Forecast total event participation numbers between 500 – 700 participants, with up to 55 athletes representing the Bendigo region.

As part of some extra goodies, there’ll be two on-course STRAVA segments for athletes to aim to set their fastest times.

What’s on offer beyond the racing?

St. Anne’s winery will have a fully licensed bar operating in “The Big Shed”, with live music from duo Harlequin from 12-3 pm.

Big Red Food Van (Fish & Chips, Chicken Tenders & Chicken Schnitzels)
As well as St Anne’s complimentary wine tasting, St Anne’s cellar door will operate for the event.
