Today we release an updated COVID-19 Athletics Bendigo ‘Return to Play’ Policy to reflect the latest step in the Victorian State Government’s Regional Roadmap. These rules are primarily for the use of the Bendigo Athletics Complex, which is located on the corner of Retreat Rd and Cook St, Flora Hill.
The Return To Play Policy covers:
- Hygiene
- Physical Contact
- Arrival And Departure Of Participants, Officials, Parents And Carers
- Spectators/Gatherings
- Sharing Equipment
- Group/Team Activity
- Indoor Activities (Note: Currently Prohibited)
- High Injury Activity
- Protocols
- Communication
- Coaching Protocols
- Cleaning Protocols
It is based on the Return to Play principles recommended by SportAus and Sport & Recreation Victoria. It has received the approval of the City of Greater Bendigo.
It is also recommended that all individuals download the COVID Safe app.
