Winter Cross Country - 29 June 2024

Between April and September, the four Bendigo-based Athletics Victoria affiliated clubs host cross country runs in the bushland around Bendigo on Saturday afternoons. Each week clubs offer a mixture of distances. From an under 10s to open ages, with short, medium and long course race options. These are usually conducted as timed handicaps.

There are four athletics clubs in the Bendigo area: Bendigo Harriers Athletics Club, Bendigo University Athletics Club, Eaglehawk Athletics Club and South Bendigo Athletic Club.

Whilst each club is unique and have different strengths and areas of focus, all of them will make new members welcome and encourage existing members to get the most out of their skills and abilities. Some clubs offer a mighty delicious afternoon tea not to be missed, too.
