6.30pm: 

110 Metre Hurdles: U18/U20/Open/40+ Men

100 Metre Hurdles: U18/U20/Open Women & U16/50+/60+ Men

90 Metre Hurdles: U16 Women & U14 Men

80 Metre Hurdles: U14/40+/50+/60+ Women

6.45pm:

2000m Walk: All Men & Women (Athlete can choose)
500m Walk: Open/U20/40+/50+ Men & Women

7.05pm:

100 Metres: Men

7.15pm:

100 Metres Women

7.35pm:

1500 Metres Men & Women

7.55pm:

400 Metres Men

8.10pm:

400 Metres Women

8.30pm:

3000 Metre (non scoring) – All Men & Women (athlete can choose)

5000 Metre (non scoring) – Open/U20/40+/50+/60+ Men & Women

8.45pm*

4 x 200 Metre Relay

2022-23 Entry Fees

• $0 for AV Registered and paid AVSL package.
• $26 for Open AV registered, but no AVSL package.
• $21 for Under 20 AV registered, but no AVSL package.
• $30 for Open non registered athletes.
• $25 for Under 20, but Over 11 non registered athletes.
• Note: Credit card charges will be added to the above fees.
• Note: No on the day entries are accepted.

What is AVSL?

Contested during the summer season, this year from October 2022 to March 2023, the Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL) is Athletics Victoria’s summer track and field competition. With over 50 clubs and five AVSL divisions, clubs battle it out across ten rounds of AVSL to see who makes it to the AVSL Playoffs in March and, to decide promotion and relegation from each of the divisions.

Each athlete can register for and compete in as many events as they wish. Athletes will be scored based on a performance scale, with their best three individual events (Plus one relay) counting towards their club’s overall score.

To compete in AVSL, an AV BASE membership, Summer package, or MAX Package is required. You can purchase a membership here or upgraded to here. However, if you wish just to come and try, you can pre-enter online as a trialling participant for one round!
