About our Royal Children’s Hospital Fundraiser

Our previous fundraiser, held in Feb 2020, was extra special as one of our very own Little Athletics Bendigo families second home was the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Romeo was born at 32 weeks with complications that required him to have surgery to help prolong his life. Sadly Romeo lost his fight, but with the blessing of his family we were able to remember Romeo at our Relaython Day. It was an emotional day all round and to see the athletes embrace the relaython was amazing and wearing orange in remembrance of Romeo.
