SOUTH Bendigo has missed a place in the AVSL play-offs after Saturday’s 10th and final round was run at the Bendigo Regional Athletics Complex in Flora Hill. The Bloods went into the round locked on 64 points with fourth-placed Wyndham where the top four teams in each division qualify for the March 5 play-offs.
THREE of Athletics Bendigo Region clubs endured a tough run in Saturday’s ninth round of AVSL track and field action. Fifth placing was Eaglehawk’s lowest mark in Premier division this season as Essendon, Box Hill, Glenhuntly and Diamond Valley led the way.
