How exciting that Little Athletics will be returning to Bendigo on the last weekend in October with online registrations now open for new and returning athletes. Stay tuned as the Bendigo Little Athletics Committee is currently finalising the 2020/21 Competition Calendar. The cost for registration will be $110.00 per child for the season and there is a free trial offer available for new Little Athletes, too.
2020 has seemed to make our Little Athletes more eager than ever to hit the track! The Bendigo Little Athletics Committee (BLAC) have been taking the necessary steps required by Little Athletics Victoria (LAVIC) to comply with the new COVID-Safe Protocols. The good news is that once LAVIC has approved our Centre for COVID-Safe competition for the 2020/2021 season, the registration portal will be opened, competition dates will be announced and competition will commence. We are hoping to have more information on this by mid-October. At the BLAC AGM held on 25th August 2020 the following volunteer members were voted into Executive and General Committee positions. We also have TWO vacant Committee Positions that need to be filled. Will you fit the bill?
Little Athletics Bendigo are proud to present their 2019-2020 Season Presentations and Awards. We celebrate and congratulate these young individuals who have excelled in each age group - from Under 16 through to Under 7 years old - for both girls and boys. There is recognition with Special Awards, Attendance Awards, Most Improved (PB) Awards and the Grand Prix Awards in Throws, Jumps and Sprints.
